Dear all,

Hoping for great July weather, we'll meet at the beach in Barry Island at 11am for some family fun (kids, partners, pets, all welcome!).

At 12:30pm, we'll move to the Cadwaladers Cafe in the seafront for coffee/tea/sandwiches/ice-cream.

Should the weather not be up to our expectations (not unheard of, this is Wales after all!), we'll make alternative plans for a powwow in central Cardiff.

UPDATE: 30/06/16

Dear all,

Unfortunately, the weather is not looking great for Saturday (although not disastrous) so we are going to meet in central Cardiff after all. This means that we can escape into a cafe if it rains.

This festival taking place in the grounds of Cardiff Castle offers food, drink, music (later in the day), stalls and activities for children so hopefully there will be something for everyone.

Please note that I have also changed the time to 1pm but I may be there with my little one a bit earlier anyway so you are welcome to do the same.
