From 2012 to 2020, I worked as a Senior Internal Linguist for one of the world's top 3 translation agencies, providing spotless translation and revision work for multiple clients and content types.
From 2014 to 2016 I was also the Team Lead of a team of 4-6 translators at the same company.
Along more than seven years of employment as an Internal Linguist I have specialized in the fields of Life Sciences/Medical translation (general medical, patient facing, consumer healthcare) and Marketing (tourism, airline, hospitality, food & drink). I have gained extensive experience and skills by translating and revising hundreds of thousands of words for numerous clients including major companies in the pharma, airline, hotel, automotive, and retail industries. I have also received continuous training in Life Sciences, learning about various topics such as Clinical Trials, Good Clinical Practices, Patient Recruitment and ICF, Clinical Research Protocols, Healthcare Marketing, Back translation and Reconciliation, Pharmacovigilance, or Regulatory Affairs.
In addition, I hold a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Translation: Localization, Subtitling, Voice Over (English/Spanish/French) and have a vast experience in Subtitling and Audiovisual translation, having translated and proofread numerous audiovisual projects as an Internal Linguist.
In August 2020 I moved to Geneva and decided to launch myself into a new adventure as a self-employed translator. |
