I am a French native speaker who translates from English and Spanish into French.

After a B.A. in journalistic translation and a M.A. in literary translation, I did various traineeships for translation companies and European institutions, where I became familiar with IT and technical translations (Bowne Global Translations (Paris)), economic and administrative translation (European Parliament (Luxembourg)) and financial translation (European Court of Auditors (Luxembourg)).
I also worked as a Project Manager for 2.5 years for translation companies in London, which enabled me to get a good insight into dealing with clients;organising multilingual translation projects with a fast turnaround; negotiating deadlines and budget with both clients and translators. From a linguistic point of view, I learned how to compile glossaries, to create Translation Memories and to use reference material.
I have been working as a freelance translator for two years now, specialising in marketing, business and press communications, covering topics such as fashion, cosmetics, tourism, multimedia products.
