As A Beginning
Since this book was written for you, let’s get right to the heart of the matter. Ask yourself these questions:
Do you earn or receive as much money as you need? The Bible states in II Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work:”
Are you better off financially than you were before you got saved? II Corinthians 8:9 states, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.”
Additionally, there are many more promises concerning your financial well being given in the Bible. Philippians 4:19 says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in
glory by Christ Jesus.”
God has pledged Himself to help you prosper if you are his child. God's plan for your life is that
you have adequate finances so your needs may be met. To prove this to be true in your case,
please review Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," Also consider III John 2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul
prospereth”.
The only requirement that God puts on his followers in the area of finance is found in Malachi,

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed Thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

Some say that tithing was done away in the New Testament, but if you look closely, tithing is also in the New Testament according to Matthew 23:23, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.”
And Hebrews 7:8 says, “And here men that die receive tithes; but there He receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that He liveth.”
God's plan of tithing is not to take your hard-earned money, but that you give God something to
work with so he may bless you according to his plan for your financial abundance. Since he has
ordained tithing and giving, he works within this framework as recorded in the Bible.
Webster agrees with the Bible that the very word “tithe” means 10%. God made it easy to know
how much to tithe. You just have to move the decimal point one place to the left ($10.00 = $1.00). He also requests love offerings. These are gifts from the heart that he works into producing a 30, 60, 100 fold return. After that, he gives clear instructions about what to, and what not to do, with money while alerting us to stay away from unholy alliances. When we "go our own way" and depart from the Bible, we quickly find that we "go it alone."
Tithing not only opens the windows of heaven, but God also rebukes the devourer for us. Malachi 3:11 says, “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.”
Once married, the very first decision Es and her husband made was to tithe on their gross income (before taxes) from all sources. They mistakenly assumed that God would automatically rebuke the devourer. Even though God kept them and took care of them, they called the repair man or bought a new one just like everyone else when something broke down,
Their Pastor began teaching about tithing and giving in a very special and unique way. When presenting tithes and offerings in Church they would hold their envelope up and repeat:

They came to realize that, just as in the scriptures concerning salvation and healing, they had a
part to play in causing these scriptures to function. They had to pray about them and then stand
in faith. From that time on, when something broke, they reminded God of what he said in his
Word and asked him to either fix it supernaturally or show them how to handle the situation.
Sometimes it was just Satan jamming his finger into appliances or in the car’s mechanism. Other
times, it truly needed repair or replacement and they asked God to make a way so the devil
couldn’t steal their finances or peace of mind. In all instances, God revealed himself to be
wonderfully faithful. Sometimes, he repaired the car, the washer, the dryer and many other things himself when they laid hands on them and asked God to heal them. Other times, he provided an alternative way. God transformed seemingly impossible problems into minor ones that were then inexpensively resolved.
Remember how Jesus handled the tax issue by sending Peter fishing? Matthew 17:27 states, “Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened its mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for Me and thee.”
Jesus will make a way for you. Is He any different today than He was then? The answer is
clearly “NO!” Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever.”

Llegaron a la realización que, tal como en las escrituras acerca de la salvación y sanidad, tenían

maravillosamente fiel. A veces El mismo reparó el auto, la lavadora, la secadora y muchas otras cosas cuando ellos pusieron las manos sobre ellas y pidieron a Dios que los sane. En otras ocasiones El nos proveyó de caminos alternativos. Dios transformó problemas que parecían imposibles en situaciones menores que luego se resolvieron en maneras no costosos.
¿Recuerda como Jesús manejó la disputa de los impuestos mandando a Pedro a pescar? Mateo 17:27 dice, "Sin embargo, para no ofenderles, ve al mar, y echa el anzuelo, y el primer pez que saques, tómalo, y al abrirle la boca, hallarás un estatero; tómalo, y dáselo por mí y por ti."
Jesús hará un camino para ti. ¿Es El en algo diferente hoy a lo que fue entonces? La respuesta es
claramente "NO!" Hebreos 13:8 dice "Jesucristo es el mismo ayer, y hoy, y por los siglos."
