Quali potrebbero essere i prossimi passi che la Grecia dovrebbe compiere, se non vuole sprofondare in una povertà da Terzo Mondo?
Francamente senza una Grexit fatta con le stesse modalità di cui parlavo prima, in questo momento le possibilità che la popolazione greca non sprofondi in quel tipo di povertà (se in larga parte non c’è già sprofondata) sono veramente basse.
Che ruolo potrebbero avere i movimenti di altri paesi europei, per sostenere e diffondere questa alternativa?
Io penso che i movimenti di altri paesi europei dovrebbero innanzitutto promuovere fortissime campagne di controinformazione, perché le bombe con cui oggi vengono conquistati i popoli sono quelle lanciate dai mass-media. Più ogni persona sarà consapevole di cosa sta succedendo davvero, più sarà possibile superare i luoghi comuni da prima metà del Novecento con cui stanno mettendo l’una contro l’altra le popolazioni dell’Eurozona. Finché i paesi del Nord Europa saranno convinti di stare davvero aiutando i fannulloni greci (solo per fare un esempio, ma se ne potrebbero fare molti altri, come gli italiani che hanno fatto i compiti a casa, mentre i greci no…) non si potrà pensare a un vero processo di convergenza democratica dell’Europa.
Il nostro compito ora è di dire le cose come stanno davvero, proponendo soluzioni che non sono certo facili, ma che possono aprire qualche vero spiraglio di speranza per il futuro.
Io faccio parte di una generazione che è stata educata a sentirsi “europea” e non ho intenzione di rinunciare a questo sentimento, ma allo stesso tempo riconosco, come mediterraneo, le mie radici anche nel Nord Africa e come umanista mi sento vicino a tante altre culture e aspiro profondamente a un processo di convergenza di tutti i popoli verso una Nazione Umana Universale.

Ποια θα είναι τα επόμενα βήματα που θα πρέπει να κάνει η Ελλάδα, προκειμένου να μην βυθιστεί σε μια τριτοκοσμική φτώχεια;
Ειλικρινά, δίχως ένα Grexit που θα γίνει με τον τρόπο που προανέφερα, αυτή τη στιγμή το ενδεχόμενο να μη βυθιστούν οι Έλληνες σε ένα τέτοιο είδος φτώχειας (αν δεν έχουν ήδη βυθιστεί σε ένα μεγάλο βαθμό) είναι πολύ χαμηλό.
Ποιος θα μπορούσε να είναι ο ρόλος των κινημάτων άλλων ευρωπαϊκών χωρών, προκειμένου να στηρίξουν και να προωθήσουν αυτή την εναλλακτική λύση;
Πιστεύω πως τα κινήματα των άλλων ευρωπαϊκών χωρών θα πρέπει αρχικά να προωθήσουν δυναμικές εκστρατείες αντι-παραπληροφόρησης, γιατί οι βόμβες με τις οποίες σήμερα κατακτώνται οι λαοί είναι εκείνες που ‘’ρίχνουν’’ τα μέσα μαζικής ενημέρωσης. Όσο περισσότερο είναι ενήμερος ο καθένας από εμάς σε σχέση με το τι πραγματικά συμβαίνει, τόσο περισσότερο θα είναι δυνατόν να ξεπεραστούν τα στερεότυπα από το πρώτο μισό του εικοστού αιώνα, που στρέφουν τον ένα λαό της Ευρωζώνης ενάντια στον άλλο. Αν οι χώρες της Βόρειας Ευρώπης δεν πειστούν να βοηθήσουν πραγματικά τους «τεμπέληδες» Έλληνες (για να δώσω ένα παράδειγμα, γιατί θα μπορούσα να δώσω πολλά ακόμα, όπως το παράδειγμα που θέλει τους Ιταλούς να είναι «οι καλοί μαθητές», ενώ οι Έλληνες όχι ...) δεν μπορούμε να σκεφτούμε μια διαδικασία πραγματικής δημοκρατικής σύγκλισης της Ευρώπης.
Καθήκον μας τώρα είναι να πούμε πώς έχει η κατάσταση πραγματικά, προτείνοντας λύσεις που σίγουρα δεν είναι εύκολες, αλλά που μπορούν να ανοίξουν μια μικρή χαραμάδα ελπίδας για το μέλλον.
Ανήκω σε μια γενιά που έμαθε να αισθάνεται «ευρωπαϊκή» και δεν πρόκειται να εγκαταλείψω αυτό το συναίσθημα, αλλά την ίδια στιγμή προσδιορίζω, ως μεσογειακός άνθρωπος, τις ρίζες μου και στη Βόρεια Αφρική και ως ανθρωπιστής νιώθω κοντά σε πολλές άλλες κουλτούρες και προσβλέπω σε μια διαδικασία σύγκλισης όλων των λαών προς ένα Παγκόσμιο Έθνος Ανθρώπων.

My name is Olga Liakaki and I am a qualified translator/interpreter with a Bachelor in Human Sciences and many years of working experience as a translator, texts' editor and an ESL Teacher, using my linguistic skills in four languages: English, Italian, Greek (native language) and Chinese.
For the past fifteen years and during my university studies I have worked for Publishing Houses and the National University of Athens/Faculty of Medicine, providing translation and administrative services, specialized in medical translation. I have also provided Greek/English language teaching services, in Athens and Milan.
I am based in and Milan, where I work as a freelance translator and as a teacher of General English at the Polytechnic School of Milan and other private schools.
