I’ve been freelancing as English-Turkish-English notarized translator, subtitler, editor and redactor for MTV Turkey, CNN Turk, Sinema TV, TRT and various national and international production companies and individuals since 2005. I also translate movies, scripts, prepare subtitles and create .srt files mainly to be used online or for screening.
After graduating high school in 1995, I’ve resided in U.S.A. between years 1997 and 2005. I graduated from Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, Washington and completed my undergraduate studies at Pacific Northwest College of Arts in Portland, Oregon. I have been working in Istanbul since 2005. I assumed Photo Editor and Writer positions for REKLAM and Signgraphic magazines. Later, I worked as the Subtitle Editor of MTV Turkey. Currently, I am doing freelance translations for major TV channels such as MTV Turkey, CNN Turk, Sinema TV and TRT, as well as English/Turkish/English subtitle editing and scenario translations for various movie production companies as a notary certified translator.
