My name is Tao and I am from Thailand. I studied Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese since I was young and I have studied in Mainland China for 10 years. Years later, when I tried to decide what I could offer to the world, the language skills came up to me and I entered the interpreting field in 2020. Although I am a late-comer, I realize I really enjoy what I do and savor the satisfaction that I have serviced both my client and my client's client (LEP). I first worked for one agency that did not turn out all right as I have not committed to working as a freelancer. Later I got another job working for another agency, it was this time that I started committing and put my effort into the work. I have over 1 year of experience working as a medical interpreter for USA-based companies and some of the earliest experiences included but not limited to: healthcare interpreting for Kaiser Permanente hospital as well as receiving calls from NHS for self-quarantine, National Grid company for electricity bills; insurance claims and education calls etc. I am still in the process of becoming a better self and working to perfect my interpreting skills. I give interpreting services in OPI/VRI and language pairs: English <> Chinese Mandarin and English <> Chinese Cantonese. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer all of your language needs and projects.
