Hello. My name is Megan Chandra. I taught Spanish for nearly four years, and during that time I curated a broad collection of Spanish-language materials that I transcribed, translated, subtitled, or created myself.

I've recently decided to dedicate my time fully to these activities in becoming a freelancer. I provide transcription, translation, subtitling, and proofreading services from Spanish-English. I have completed a 40 hour course for qualification as a medical interpreter through ALTA, and volunteer as a medical interpreter for CommunityHealth in Chicago. I have specializations in medical and pedagogical jargon in both Spanish and English, and I have some experience with a broad range of subjects.

I am meticulous and methodical in my work and am passionate about researching unfamiliar material to ensure a holistic understanding of source material before translation begins.
