Let's not get carried away and exaggerate things. Large projects need not be stressful. What stresses me out is when several clients appear at the same time, all with urgent needs. Or non-work demands, for example from friends, acquaintances or official institutions, doctor's visits, dental appointments, vehicle servicing, banking... etc.

However, the amount of work I have on hand may affect my eating pattern to a certain extent. I often eat out at midday, but if I have a lot of work and deadlines to complete, I may tend to stay at home, or perhaps eat less and miss out on a siesta, or maybe have a shorter one than usual. It's no big deal, and I suspect that brief periods of eating less than usual, particularly without the dessert that comes included with a daily menu in Spain, can be a good thing.

Yes, sometimes! Sep 9, 2016

I like long projects and they are not necessarily stressful but sometimes I can’t help but stress myself out: for big projects I always establish a daily quota in my calendar and if, by any circumstance, I can’t achieve it I’ll be really stressed and my meals (and my sleep) could be affected...

No, not really Sep 9, 2016

I keep the same regular meal times and occasionally snack. It doesn't matter whether I have a large project or tight deadlines; I will still eat the same amount.

I have to admit I frequently get carried away by my work and forget to eat at "regular" times...

In those circumstances I may start snacking rather than fix proper meals. This is both an advantage and disadvantage of living alone - an advantage because I'm free to set my own schedule, and a disadvantage because I eat less nutritiously.

Sometimes, only at night Sep 9, 2016

When I have a rush job due SOB and I have to work at night, the more I get sleepy the more I need to drink/eat something to keep me awake - and I end up having 2 cups of tea and biscuits...the problem is that I often have this kind of jobs and let's say that my scale is not happy to see me recently haha

Not much Sep 9, 2016

But if I have one or several tight deadlines, I may eat simple meals without a lot of preparation

When I 'go to work' (aka: walk to my home office), I take along with me a serving tray with sandwiches, fruits, veggies, nuts and a litre of green tea. Usually, all has been consumed at the end of my working day, but when I'm working frantically toward a deadline, I may forget about eating, and some of the food is left.

I wake up like 1 hour before the alarm clock does its job... and I do not sleep well.
I eat regularly, thanks to the fact that my kids have breakfast and lunch with me, so I have to take the time to eat.
Dinner is the only moment when my wife eats with us, so...

If I have a tight deadline and yes I sometimes have to push lunch back. I've ended up eating lunch at 3 or 4 because I had to submit a project before the deadline.

It's more likely to happen to me in case of a small rush project (not more than one day long) rather than with a big project, when you can manage your time properly.

Sometimes I've ended up eating lunch at 3 or 4 or even had no lunch because I had to submit a project before the deadline. So, I try to avoid rush jobs.
