Description:

SDL Trados Studio 2011 is the "Swiss Knife" of interoperability and compatibility. In this session we will show you how you can make the most of Studio 2011 after upgrading from Trados 2007 - no matter if your translation customer is still on Trados 2007 or already uses Studio 2009/ 2011. We will go through concrete customer scenarios and examples of how to use Studio 2011 in such mixed project scenarios.

Daniel Brockmann ist Director of Product Management bei SDL und bekleidete diese Position bereits bei TRADOS vor der Übernahme von SDL. Bei TRADOS fing er im Februar 1994 an. In den ersten Jahren arbeitete er zunächst als Schulungs- und Supportspezialist, nahm aber auch vertriebsunterstützende Aufgaben wahr und arbeitete an der technischen Dokumentation der TRADOS-Produkte mit - neben vielen anderen Tätigkeiten, die in einem sehr schnell wachsenden Unternehmen anfielen. Darüber hinaus wirkte er beim Aufbau der weltweiten TRADOS-Organisation mit, indem er die jeweiligen lokalen TRADOS-Vertriebsorganisiationen in der Software schulte. Heute ist Herr Brockmann mit seinem Team für das Produktmanagement der Translation Memory- und Terminologie-Produktlinien von SDL Trados verantwortlich, die Produkte wie SDL Trados Studio, SDL Studio GroupShare, SDL MultiTerm sowie SDL Open Exchange umfassen.
