Inserting red L tags in Studio projects can be a crime:
CafeTran Espresso doesn't insert them correctly.
Once inserted correctly, CafeTran Espresso doesn't propagate them correctly
And what's more: CafeTran Espresso doesn't insert them correctly when using Translate > Insert all Exact Matches.
These are my settings for Auto-assembling:
And these are my settings for Auto-propagation:
Here is a picture from the Grid with many reps. One would expect: translate the first one of a group identical segments, and CafeTran Espresso propagates your translation – including the red L tags – correctly:
However, Auto-assembling produces this segment:
Note that the tags aren't correct.
So I added an icon for Auto tag insertion to my button bar:
It activates a macro that uses a regular expression to copy the tag complex from the source segment and inserts it at the correct position in the target segment:
I can image that this would be a nice addition to CafeTran Espresso too.
