Well, I think this is a problem of America publishing houses, In a certain sense I think there is some trend which results in the publishing of mainly always the same stuff... it is all about sells.

No... literary translators often know more than publishing houses pretend to know, but they are not considered!

People in the United States, being ethnocentric, have little interest in what is happening in other countries or in other languages. They could care less.
