German term

Rücksprungskraft

German to English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) clothing material
talking about the qualities of a material used for sports clothing. They obviously mean its ability to return to its original shape, but what's the proper term for this in Eng.?
Thanks for any help...

Merriam-Webster: the capability of a strained body to recover its size and shape after deformation caused especially by compressive stress

"elasticity" could work in some cases, but I'd avoid that in a clothing context as it could be misunderstood as meaning "stretchy"
