What is being listed is not ongoing, regular advice covering general health, but advice given on a particular matter, presumably when the GP wants a specialist opinion.

My understanding of what is meant is similar to that of CMJ Trans. However, I think that my suggestion is more precise and includes the reason why such advice would be only sought occasionally.

: "Timely" and "non permanent " are so different, that it would be useful if you decided which you meant. What is the use of non-permanent advice? Just how long would this ephemeral advice be good for?
