Nell’inglese cyber compare soprattutto in composti: cybernaut, cybernavigator con il significato di cybernauta e cybernavigatore, cybersurf indica l’atto vero e proprio di cybersurfare ossia navigare nel cyber mondo della Rete, abbiamo infine cybermusic, cyberbooks, cyberfilm, cybersex che costituiscono la così detta cultura cyberpunk. Lo stesso prefisso svolge comunque l’ulteriore funzione di aggettivo, ad esempio nelle espressioni cyber rights, cyber cowboy, cyber dreams. In realtà basta aggiungere il prefisso ad una qualsiasi parola e il gioco è fatto; lo stesso vale per l’italiano in cui al prefisso cyber- si alterna la forma italianizzata ciber- (ad esempio ciberborsellino, cibersesso).

Explanation:
ciber is the contraction of the word cibernetica which I am sure you know means: the science of communication and automatic control systems in both machines and living things.
You can use it as a prefix: ciberspace for example that is the notional environment in which electronic communication occurs: virtual reality; in italian would be:spazio cibernetico.
