Wow! In terms of mobility, at least, translation is the best job in the world.
Usch Pilz (asker) Feb 1, 2013:
@ phil Renting a small room on a Namibian farm, helping with their horses, using their wifi and working on my texts in the hot afternoons and long African nights. I was asked to look at a chapter in a guidebook on the local geology (written in German) so that they can give a summary to their English speaking guests ... It is all a dream. Freelancing in the best sense of the word.
philgoddard Jan 31, 2013:
Usch You're forgiven! Where are you, and what are you doing?
Cilian O'Tuama Jan 31, 2013:
no apology no apology required, even if he has a point :-) Not to worry.
Usch Pilz (asker) Jan 31, 2013:
@phil @ Cilian Sorry - I was not trying to insult anyone's intelligence. I am here in situ - at the geological site. And I guess my brain has just been fried by the desert sun a little too long ... I googled tons of minerals - but this one somehow got through the filter.
