: I'm imagining blinds that close (sensor/motor); but I think they really mean sensitivity to climate change = sustainability (e.g., bamboo grows faster than trees, so it's more sustainable, supposedly))

: actually there is a concept of climate-compensating materials. That means they are sensitive to the changes in temperature and humidity and thus climate sensitive. Does not relate to climate change.

I have been researching this subject a lot of late and bioclimatic is a term used primarily to describe building design but the materials used to achieve such a design could also be termed bioclimatic, although this gets far fewer hits. a bioclimatic building responds to changes in temperature/humidity by balancing those changes through insulation, breathable membranes, ventilation etc.
