Has anyone come across this combination?
It seems to be on a discharge instruction sheet.
On one page it says "ALD 100%" at the top followed by:

And on another page it says "ALD 100%" at the top followed by:
Faire pratiquer par unde IDE à domicile
-tous les jours, une injection d'innohep......

What I know of ALD is either "PRN/when necessary" which doesn't make sense, or "affection longue durée." (Also adrénoleucodystrophie)
I guess it could be "affection longue durée" but I came across this:
Plusieurs catégories de maladies peuvent être prises en charge à 100% par la caisse d'assurance maladie. Il s'agit des affections qui comportent un traitement prolongé et une thérapeutique particulièrement coûteuse, inscrites sur une liste de 30 affections de longue durée (ALD 30), établie par décret.

But uterine fibroids is not on the list.
However, the "prise en charge à 100%" fits in my context...

You need not be worried. It's not inconceivable that the doctor made a mistake about the acffection qualifying for 100% - but the term is unequivocal....
| Hi Andrew - thanks for posting an answer. Do you think I should not be concerned with the fact that this affliction is not on the list of conditions considered an "affection longue durée?" It does seem clear that they're saying (on the discharge instructions) that it is an "ALD" covered "100%." I'm just trying to figure out if I'm missing something. |
