shoes
• Full nubuck upper
• Waterproof ankle boot
• Coloured rand on sole
• Cleated tread on sole
This is what it is: The rand is a thinner piece of rubber that wraps around the front end of the shoes, covering the front and sides of the toe box. While most climbing shoe soles are between 3 and 5 mm in thickness, rands are much thinner and they are not designed to hold up to abuse and abrasion like soles are.
