English term

high liability/sensitive receptors

English to German Bus/Financial Economics Demolition/remediation of industrial sites
From yesterday's Exxon slides related to an "Assets Divestment Decision Tree":

"Potential high liability/sensitive receptors present?"

The context, such as it is, is a series of boxes requiring yes/no answers:

- Is site likely to be developed for residential use?
- Site impacted by prior use?
- Was site ever used in industrial use (sic)
- Potential high liability/sensitive receptors present?
- Develop cost estimate
- Develop demolition plan

Any ideas anyone?

I think gerhard's answer above is spot on- just want to support it with a reference
"However, there is a*** sensitive receptor, such as a school or residential apartment complex or daycare center, some distance, perhaps one half mile, downgradient of the property***. It is not uncommon in such situations for the environmental professional to register a concern that the sensitive receptor might possibly be impacted by any release from the property."

You could maybe say:

[Sind] folgenschwere Haftpflichtfaktoren/Anwohnerbedenken vorhanden?

or, of you want to include the "potential",

Bestehen Anzeichen für möglicherweise folgenschwere Haftpflichtfaktoren/Anwohnerbedenken?
