| 'immortal, invisible, god only wise' 'Unsterblich und allwissend, (doch) seh'n wir dich nicht' Explanation: Ich habe eben nochmal nach der deutschen Entsprechung dieses Liedes gesucht, doch leider nichts gefunden, außer der "Register"-Nummer "UMH 103" (United Methodist Hymns 103) und dem englischen Original-Text, dessen erste Strophe lautet: Immortal, invisible, God only Wise, In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, Allmighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise! Rein aus Spaß an der Freud' habe ich mich deshalb mal d'rangemacht, eine metrisch passende Übersetzung auszuarbeiten: Unsterblich und allwissend, (doch) seh'n wir dich nicht, dem Aug' Du stets verborgen bleibst im strahlenden Licht, Segen und Glorie, sie sind ewig Dein, Allmächtig und siegreich, all' Lob soll Dir sein!
