DOCKING PROCEDURE
3. Once correctly parked the driver must turn off the engine and apply the trailer parking brake. Chocks should then be placed at the trailer wheels and the landing legs lowered; the air lines and electrical lines should then be disconnected. The dog clip and or any other safety device should be removed and the handle pulled to release the jaws of the fifth wheel. The vehicle should be restarted and driven forward slowly. The vehicle should then be parked in the designated parking area or a minimum of 3m away from the trailer.
