Can anybody tell me where I can find on-line the text of H.G.Gough and A.B.Heilbrunn's Adjective Check List?
I am currently translating into English a Polish text where some of these adjectives are mentioned.
Thank you for any help you may give me.

Hello from being in the field of psychology I have no knowledge of the text being online,
Gough Adjective Checklist (ACL): a published 300-item list of adjectives for self-checking or checking by observers; these items can be checked for ‘actual’ or ‘ideal’ self. From the 300 items, 37 scales can be scored that measure variables ranging from affiliation, to the need for order, to creative personality.
Hello from being in the field of psychology I have no knowledge of the text being online, however there are many references to the text. Feel free to contact me if you can use any emailed info. The book I believe is now out of print it was Adjective Check List Manual/No 2101. Good luck.

· California Psychological Inventory (CPI): a published 434-item personality inventory including 20 scales that measure a broad array of individual difference variables: more interactional, socially observable qualities (e.g, dominance and independence), internal values and controls, achievement-seeking needs, and stylistic modes (e.g., flexibility and masculinity/femininity). There are also 13 scales designed for special purpose (e.g., managerial potential, creative temperament). Three broad vector scales can be scored from the entire inventory: internality/externality, norm favoring/norm questioning, and self-fulfilled/dispirited.

: great work Rita. I odn't think that the actual manual or test will be online. Professionals using psych. tests are often limited to access, even buying tests. This may vary and there are plenty of copies of tests made in institutions.

thanks James - I also think these "tests" are usually very costly (everyone deserves to be paid, right?)
