rise
The Dict. of Earth Science (Michel & Fairbridge) gives "oceanic rise" for "remontée océanique" and this definition is on the Web:
oceanic rise ( ′ōshē′anik ′rīz ) ( geology ) A long, broad elevation of the bottom of the ocean.
www.answers.com/topic/oceanic-rise
But elsewhere "remontée océanique" is given as "upwelling", i.e. a movement of water, which Michel/Fairbridge give as "remontée d'eau marine".
Maybe just "rise" :
rise (1) In oceanography, a broad gently sloping, elevated portion of the sea-floor, similar to a mid-oceanic ridge but without the media rift valley

In case there is any doubt that the Kerguelen Plateau and, hence, the "remontée" in question, are in fact under water :

Out of context this COULD be interpreted to be "upwelling" of water from the depths, but this makes clear we are indeed talking geography:

BTW
I would have put "slopes" had this been my translation. "Rise" is a very unusual term, except in geography probably :-)
