French term

Machine à habiller

French to English Science Wine / Oenology / Viticulture
I have no real context here, just a list of things that are used to make champagne. The wine grower wants to show that most of the things used to make his champagne are made in France. One of those things is a "Machine à habiller"

many thanks Terry - what a lovely sight (your link!) and those bottles do look so nicely "dressed"!
agree philgoddard : I'm sure this is correct, but what's capsuling?//Thanks

capsuling (aka capping) = putting on those foil capsules that have to be removed before you can get at the cork. The venerable Lexivin is pretty reliable!
