Hello! I just need someone's expert opinion on the fact that an (Italian) foundation has a "general meeting of stakeholders" rather than of "quotaholders" or "shareholders" ? If you need more context let me know! Thanks!!

... "Shareholders' Meeting" is just the same as "general meeting of shareholders"

They did not elaborate further but called it informally "assemblea degli azionisti" therefore it could be they see it as such, period. At least we've settled this issue!! I'll close the question and signal to please be careful when using this translation! THank you all!

Sarah, I would tend to go for members, but didn't the client elucidate on just who these "partecipanti" are?

update from client: the client said they don't like "shareholder/stakeholders/stockholders meeting", perhaps members but still undecided. I'm waiting for more feedback. Thanks for your patience.

I think we need more context Sarah. While in other countries foundations may have members, under articles 14 to 42 of the Italian Civil code, foundations have founders and administrators, no "partecipanti". An association has "associati", members.
