baggage handling
This seems to be referring to the stage where luggage is stacked on trucks to be brought out and loaded into the hold (and later unloaded and "de-stacked" before being sent to the baggage claim area or whatever) but I don't know the term. Can anyone out there help? TIA

"packing" in this context obviously does not refer to an individual packing their bags. This is "airport talk".

23 mins
stacking and destacking of luggage
or shorter: luggage stacking and destacking
5 hrs
loading/unloading of baggage
It seems the most natural to use "loading and unloading" as opposed to packing or stacking.
Either way, good luck! :-)
