Hi everybody!
I just browsed through SDL help files and knowledgbase and can't find any info on this. Here's the thing: I have a huge TM EN>FR for one of our biggest clients and they just ordered us a translation FR>EN.
Is there a way to take my EN>FR TM, copy it and revert it into a EN>FR one? If yes, how?
Thanks a lot in advance for any suggestions /help!
Regards, Anne

Hi Anne,
There may be a cleverer way to do this, but I would export the TM to tmx, create a new FR>EN TM and import the export file again.

But it may be worth waiting a couple of minutes: I would not be surprised if Jerzy showed a quicker way within Studio.
Take care, Attila

Create an empty TM in STudio in the direction you want Use the Upgrade TM process to merge them together
This can create two TMs one in each direction. Useful when you have lots of TMs and you want to tidy them up into just a few, but can be used for something like this too.
One thing to watch out for is that when you go to add the sdltm it won't be immediately visible in the window which makes it look as though it isn't supported. Change the drop down filetypes... See more

Hi everybody,
Thanks a lot for your responses. Paul, sorry - I tried what you suggested and it did not work.
At the end I just tried creating a new TM FR>EN, exported the EN>FR TM and imported it. Trados automatically reverted it apparently, it worked perfectly
Thanks again and take care, Anne
