Job Description

The Content Creator provides curriculum direction and support to build the best instructional materials template library in the world through one of the most crucial aspects of a design: its content.
You'll be working closely with a vibrant and friendly team consisting of a curriculum lead, content reviewer, other content creators, copy editors, and graphic designers. This is an opportunity to strategize and develop exceptional ideas from the ground up, influence the product's overall direction, and create fresh, relevant, and usable content for teachers and students.

Who You Are

● You are an experienced curriculum expert who has successfully developed content for grades K to 12.
○ Must have a solid academic background.
○ A bachelor's degree in a humanities field is required, ideally related to language arts, science, or mathematics.
○ A master's degree or higher is preferred.
● Must be fluent in the target language (Bahasa) and English.
● You have familiarity with the respective National Standards (Indonesia) and how they connect to the instructional materials we create to ensure we are giving clear directions to the content creators and can stand behind the decisions to the client.
● You have a growth mindset.
● You understand copyright and plagiarism for content.


What You’ll Do (responsibilities)

● Create clear, engaging, and interactive content that align with targeted Curriculum standards and skills to meet specified educational objectives.
● Create templates according to the quality standards provided by our team of designers
○ Write teacher- and student-facing content for each module and collaborate with our team of instructional designers, editors, and illustrators to ensure content is fun, accurate, and age-appropriate.
○ Ability to design instructional and assessment content
● Excellent grasp of the local language - technically strong with a flair for either structured or creative style of writing (e.g., Bahasa (Indonesia)
● Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
● Ability to use online meeting software, such as Zoom and Google Meetings
● Ability to work seamlessly on the client platform
● Ability to query issues and communicate effectively with team members
