French term
angle de goutte
French to English
Tech/Engineering
Energy / Power Generation
Not too much context as it's a list of equipment expenses for a project involving the use of metallic foams in fuel cells. There is also a lot of discussion in the document of welding techniques and deposition of metal coatings.

droplet angle
In view of the fact that this is talking about electro-deposition, I wonder if the 'goutte' isn't in fact a 'droplet', and I could well imagine such a thing might have an 'angle' (maybe a bit like a spray angle -- you know, a wide fan or a narrow jet) that needs to be measured. Think of the 'droplets' being ejected from the cathode by the ion beam (or whatever it is), and imagine the need to see what sort of area is covered/how well the droplets are going to reach all side of the parts contained in the anode 'baskets'.
All this is pure conjecture, of course, but maybe will lead you in the right direction...
Good luck!
