Slovak term

ila genus

Slovak to English Medical Medical (general)
From a report concerning a knee injury:

fissura stress cartil plato mtib gen l sin
th biolevox 2,5 % i a *ila genus*

Can anyone make sense of this? 'Genus' is the knee, but what is 'ila'?

There was a similar item in a recent, related document, but the text on that occasion was "th biolevos 2,5 % i a N cps".
Proposed translations (English)
4 type IIa (muscle fibres of the knee)

Discussion

Dylan Edwards (asker) Oct 16, 2018:
Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. There's too much guesswork, so I had to leave this one unresolved.
Igor Liba Oct 15, 2018:
maybe can help anulus fibrocartilagineus / fibrocartilaginous ring / väzivovochrupkový prstienok
Dylan Edwards (asker) Oct 14, 2018:
Just checked: 'knee joint', in proper Latin, would be 'articulatio genus'. Can't see how that would come out as 'ila' unless the typewriter suddenly seized up. It is a rather badly typed document.
Dylan Edwards (asker) Oct 14, 2018:
Thank you for your suggestions.
'i a' appeared in exactly this form in the previous (related) document that came my way, and both times I've taken it to mean 'intraarticular', although, confusingly, it was followed by 'cps' (capsules?) in the previous document.

I'll give some more thought to your 'ligament' suggestion tomorrow.

Just thought of something else, prompted by your suggestion

ila = xxxxxx anterior ligament?
liz askew Oct 14, 2018:
or gel?

Biolevox ONE is a hyaluronic acid, an intraarticular gel 2.5%, a pre-filled syringe 4.8 ml. Sodium hyaluronate is obtained by bacterial fermentation and is used as a viscoelastic gel to supplement the intra-articular connective tissue. It is sterile and apyrogen. It is injected into the knee to relieve pain and decreased articular mobility associated with degenerative knee lesions. As a one of the few on the market, it has the highest content of hyaluronic acid in a single dose.

FUNCTION
The synovial fluid contains physiologically hyaluronic acid which is responsible for viscoelastic properties allowing, through lubricant properties, painless joint movements. It also participates to the nutrition of the cartilage. Intra-articular supplementation of the synovial fluid by hyaluronic acid injections improves the viscoelastic properties of the synovial fluid.
liz askew Oct 14, 2018:
could ila genus = knee joint?
liz askew Oct 14, 2018:
so,
i.a. = intrarticular?
Dylan Edwards (asker) Oct 14, 2018:
This is an intraarticular injection of Biolevox. The only logical explanation I can think of is that 'ila' refers to the 'approach' chosen for the injection: inferior lateral anterior?
This is guesswork, as I haven't found any other examples.
It calls for a footnote.

Note from asker:
As far as I can see, they're not concerned with muscles. This is just a short report concentrating on two things: cartilage, and how long the patient can stay on sick leave.
