German term

Druckstrecken

German to English Tech/Engineering Printing & Publishing From a list of printing terms
Again, from a list of printing terms, likely off a publisher's advertising brochure.

Full term: 'Druckstreckenrabatte'

Next term:
'Gültig für Strecken innerhalb eines Heftes'

It may be a rebate/discount for more than one printed advertisement in an issue, or a series of ads in one issue. So could I say 'ad series', 'series of ads'? ?
Proposed translations (English)
3 multi-page discount

June 1 (16:20 hours GMT): Thank you, HeinrichB, for your prompt response. I'm going ahead with the glossary entry. While 'Druckstrecke' would translate as 'print range', 'Druckstreckenrabatte' would translate as 'multi-page discount', IMHO.
Anton Baer (asker) Jun 1, 2007:
I haven't got confirmation. Sorry. I think it is indeed a multi-page discount, for running more than one page of ads in a magazine, but glossing it is up to you.

June 1 (16:10 hours GMT): May I have your confirmation for making the glossary entry, please?
Anton Baer (asker) May 24, 2007:
Glossary entry No, still waiting to hear again from client. They expect it is 'print range' and are checking.

May 24, 2007: Have you got the confirmation from your client? Please inform me, so that I may go ahead and make the glossary entry. Thanks
casper (X) May 20, 2007:
Thanks for clarifying, Heinrich :-)
Anton Baer (asker) May 20, 2007:
Let me clarify: it's from a list of terms, not sentences. There is no context apart from the preceding and following items in the list, all of which furnish the sole context, presumably a publisher's advertising pamphlet. I included the 'next term', 'Gültig für Strecken innerhalb eines Heftes', to reveal that little context around 'Strecken' that does exist. I do not have the pamphlet, merely a collection of terms culled from that presumed pamphlet. Like a laundry list. Like a shopping list. I hope it's now clear.
casper (X) May 20, 2007:
"2.7 - One posting must be made for each term question. Posting multiple questions within the same posting is not permitted, since it interferes with the process of making glossary entries."
Please post your "Next term" as a separate question. Thank you

It would be helpful if you provide (at least) the source sentence containing the asked term

German term (edited): Druckstreckenrabatte
Selected

multi-page discount

...in the limited context
Note from asker:
It's just a list. There is no context apart from the next item in the list, in which the term is repeated, and which I include to reveal that little context that exists. (So much for rule 2.7)

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you. I'm not sure if this is it, but it's a good possibility and I did include it paired with the other possibility of 'print range'. (Please do not enter either into glossary until confirmed by client.)"
