A painting on the ceiling of this church which i asked about before. Is there a phrase in English for this depiction, or can I just translate it word for word in brackets? Something like "The love of Christ revealed through His suffering on the cross"?

I'd say; I am not aware of any specific term to describe such a painting, but I don't know everything!

I think "the love of Christ revealed in His saving passion" would be a slightly more literal translation - the original doesn't actually mention the word cross (although obviously it is implied), and passion would be the commonly used word in a religious context.
