With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) taking effect May 25, 2018, I am getting more and more translations about Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)... I'm spending my weekend working on 16,000 words for Tuesday. Good thing I'm into cybersecurity!
Excited to be working with FEMA as part of the group of translators who are in charge of all of the material regarding Hurricane Irma! Starting the day with some letters of verification for Social Security benefits from the SSA and then moving onto the translation of some breakfast and lunch menus for public schools... A bunch of different medical translations today: discharge instructions, general information on the Takotsubo syndrome, an emergency sheet and also instructions for an online patient portal.
