Italian term

livello gerarchico superiore

Italian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
There are several occurrences in the text:

I know the meaning but can't think of how to render it in English.

Thanks

a higher level of management

I think this is the way I would translate it because if you consider the context and what follows immediately ie "e/o alla funzione aziendale competente" we are definitely within the Business Law domain, as mentioned further down the line "Regolamento ed alle procedure organizzative aziendali".
Example sentence:

Frontline managers are managers who are responsible for a work group to a higher level of management.

3. The initial presiding manager in any of the above procedures may deem it necessary to adjourn proceedings at any time in order to reconvene with a higher level of management.
