Vjerujem da bi ovo dobro prenijelo smisao teksta, a ne samo pružilo doslovan prijevod, iako mi nije poznato o kakvim objektima je riječ tj. o kakvoj vrsti programa je riječ (obrada fotografije, web dizajin, 3D, tekst, prezentacija ...).

U opisu značajki koriste se dva pojma (straighten and level) budući da se funkcionalnost programa ne mora odnositi samo na horizontalno ravnanje objekta. Npr. postoji vertikalno ravnanje slike neke zgrade ili čak promjena cijele perspektive scene (lense corection), a može se raditi horizontalno ravnanje slike mora. I kod nas se pojam horizontalnog i vertikalnog (vodoravnog i okomitog) ravnanja objekata koristi u mnogim vodičima za obradu fotografije, teksta, prezentacija i sl.

neutral Daryo : "okomito ravnanje objekata" doesn't sound quite right, it's in fact about "perspective correction" (that is not always vertical) not "redressing slightly slanted verticals", but OTOH is seems to be a widely used term

I agree. My goal was to find general expression that is used and that includes more than just image editing since the type of software was not specified. This therm can be used for vertical, horizontal and, like you said, perspective change of objects.

Ideally you would need a working copy of this software to be really sure, or at least screenshots.

"straighten" - ispravlja linije - pretvara zakrivljene linije u prave linije
many objectives create a deformation of the picture that results in straight lines (in the real world objects) being represented as curved line in the picture - theoretically it's possible to calculate a transformation the will "straighten" these curved lines back to straight lines as they are in the real world

OTOH "straighten" could also be "perspective correction" - restore the parallelism lost by the perspective.

"level" poravnati liniju horizonta - one the most common beginners mistake is to slant the picture 2-3 % i.e. most amateur picture have a line of horizon that is not parallel to the edge of the picture.
