FINES- in this context
English to Portuguese
Tech/Engineering
Food & Drink
Exhaust from the dryer chamber and the vibrating fluid bed is drawn through the baghouse and the sock filters remove the FINES. The filters are back-pulsed with air from above the top plate of the baghouse. FINES fall to the base of the baghouse where there is a fluidised bed with an air inlet for fluidising. The FINES fall through the outlet at the base to a rotary valve and into the FINES return line where they are blown (roots blower at upstream) either back top the top of the drier chamber or to either the upstream or downstream end of the fluidised bed.

I wonder if they borrowed the term from mining terminology.
fine - Mining. crushed ore sufficiently fine to pass through a given screen. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fine Meu dicionário de engenharia traduz como pó de minério. I know your document is about food but it may relate to tiny food particles. See if it fits your context.

Material/Partículas mais finas/
(materials) Particles smaller than average in a mixture of particles varying in size. Fine material which passes through a standard screen on which coarser fragments are retained.
neste contexto de Alimentação /filtros, são as particulas mais finas que passam no filtro...se fosse num aspirador de alcatifas eu diria poeira/pó.
