Historique du sejour en cours
How do you say it in English? I saw on the screen of patient in hospital, the options are les presciptions, les soins, les thèmes so it is like the history of patient?

just add current but given the context it might be redundent. This is in hospital.

: if they took the trouble to put explicitly "du séjour en cours" there must be some good reasons... like another screen for past stays in the same hospital? you have no idea of the context to assume you can just leave it out

No reason to disagree since this is the term we use in hospital for currently hospitalized patients.

: I think it's more about specifically the current visit. Would this include previous notes? "Progress notes" implies both current visit and in relation to earlier visits. I dunno, sounds reasonable if that's what it means, but it might be reading in a bit

As one who uses these terms professionally on a daily basis, the progress notes refer to multiple encounters during the same hospital visit.

Thanks Liz. It's always irksome to not be picked on a bread and butter translation.
