The Absetzungsrnder are a part of the vagina, somewhere near the cervix. Is there a gynaecologist in the house? :)

withdrawal edges

I find no reference in my medical dictionary, but Absetzung is a withdrawl. Absetzen means to amputate or remove.
Maybe this is of some help to you.

margins

Absetzungsrand refers to the margins of a wound after you resect something, in this case obviously the vagina. It is a general surgical term used in gynecology as well (in German we call them "Operettenchirurgen", snicker).
