"Dass solche individuellen Gewaltpotentiale aus sich heraus Gruppenkonflikte hervorbringen können, ist soziologisch betrachtet ausgeschlossen. Es gibt keinen **deterministischen Durchgriff** individueller Potentiale auf die Interaktion von Realgruppen. Interagierende Realgruppen sind schlicht etwas anderes als Ansammlungen von Individuen mit ihren je individuellen Potentialen."
