Obviously, the sensor automatically adjusts itself to environmental or other parameters that influence the output. This process is usually referred to as calibration. Adjustment is another option, but IMO it's less adequate.

With regard to the \"auch abgleichen\" question, in other contexts, to adjust will be fine. It\'s just that \"Sensorabgleich dauert 120 Sekunden und wird automatisch\" sounds more like a calibration than adjustment to me.
