I am an award winning novelist, scriptwriter and journalist. I have 25 years of experience of literary translation. My translated books have been published by Penguin Books India, National Book Trust, India and scores of other big publishing houses. I am known for accuracy and the best literary translation from Hindi & Urdu to English and vice versa.

Suneela Mubayi is a freshly-minted PhD in Arabic literature at NYU, where she completed a thesis on the intersection of classical and modern Arabic poetry. She has translated poems and short stories into and from Arabic, English, and Urdu, and has published her work in Banipal, Beirut39, Jadaliyya, and elsewhere. She has also worked as a consecutive interpreter between Arabic and English at various panels and forums relating to Arabic culture and politics.
