My name is María Eugenia Gordo Navarro and I work as a freelance sworn translator, conference interpreter and proofreader.

My working languages are Spanish, English, French, Italian and German. I can also offer Chinese and Russian thanks to my collaborators.

I have a Degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a Postgraduate Degree in Legal Translation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a European Master in Conference Interpreting from the University of La Laguna. I am also a sworn translator English<>Spanish appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

I am specialized in legal/financial documents (certificates of birth/death/marriage, criminal records, contracts, powers of attorney, diplomas, transcripts of records, etc.); technical documents (industrial machinery manuals); scientific/medical documents (medical articles, reports, etc.), tourist documents and website localization.

I have worked as a translator for over 7 years and I have a wide experience in the translation industry. During this period I have worked not only as a freelancer but also in several translation agencies, in Josep Peñarroja Fa's translation office in Barcelona, and in the Directorate-General for Translation in Brussels, etc.
