Spanish to English Social Sciences Law (general) Treatment of crime victims in the justice courts
I am not absolutely sure of how to translate "los denominados" (so-called? appointed?). The context:

Este trabajo supone problematizar las posiciones discursivas que ocupan unos de los _denominados intervinientes_ de un proceso penal, posiciones determinadas por el Derecho procesal penal.

Es lo que se me ocurre. Supongo que se refiere a las partes legitimadas o habilitadas para intervenir como tales en el proceso penal. Saludos.
