I have been working part time as a Hindi-English ( English - Hindi) translator and English-English transcriber for Verbalize IT which has helped me gain significant exposure to the translation business.

A recent Information Technology graduate , I worked with IBM as a systems Engineer for a year and as an Intern with Steria(UK) as a Development Intern.During the past two years I have developed full fledged applications using Java/VB.NET as front end and Oracle as back end and have worked on UNIX,HP Open VMS,SQL,Web Technologies like HTML,CSS and PHP. I am technically sound and keep abreast with the latest technologies be it PCs, smartphones , development tools and software .

I now freelance as a content writer & English Language Trainer.In my current role as a content Developer for De Kulture Music(www.dekulture.com) and the Blue Lotus Festival (www.BlueLotusFestival.com) , I develop content for the websites ,marketing collateral and an 80 page booklet which entailed detailed description of all artists,activities and partners of the festival .I also manage the facebook page and devise online promotion strategies to increase public reach . Amongst other duties I write press releases , newsletters and incorporate SEO while generating content .
