I've heard of someone who describes herself as "Senior Expert Translator for the Global Marketplace".
What is this? Does anyone know? It sounds very impressive.

When I started out as a programmer -- back in the days of stacks of punched cards and aachine room the size of a football pitch -- I was first of all a simple Programmer. Then eventually they called me a Senior Programmer and paid me a bit more. In return, they expected me to give help to the newbies and sometimes delegate tasks and oversee their work.

So ot could be that. Or Chris could well be right in assuming this is overblown CV-speak.
