Yes! Aug 16, 2025

I attended the Techforword AI interpreting summit event this year, which was fantastic. My favorite part was to participate in the networking events and meeting new great interpreters. The moral of the event was that you do not know how interesting and exciting is networking until you participate in one.

Attended one in March Aug 18, 2025

I attended a smaller meet-up/educational event of the ATA German Language Division in New York earlier this year. In general, I prefer smaller networking events to big conferences.

Already did! Aug 18, 2025

I went to the professional program at the Buenos Aires Book Fair in April, plus a workshop about challenges in translating literature for children and young adults.

And I'm thinking about other events (at least a couple) before December; it will depend on my schedule and budget.

And there were a couple more that I couldn't attend due to my schedule.

I know the next events will have a lot of buzz related to AI because it's a way to stay updated about what's going on in the local translation industry. ▲ Collapse
