Is it legal? Feb 17

Unlike so many 'jobs' posted on this platform which are designed to encourage freelancers to engage in the illegal collection of sensitive personal data, supposedly for 'AI training' purposes.

It depends... Feb 18

Is it a new client? Is it a scam? Do they have a good reputation? What’s the language combination? What’s the subject matter? What’s the deadline? Knowing all this, I’ll send a quote…

Is it an old client? I’ll answer and proceed…

Language pari/s Feb 18

I check the language pair/s.

Some tasks are not within my working languages. So, why bother spending more time if there's nothing for me to see!

rate Feb 18

First of all the rate, but the real answer to this poll is all of them.
And sometimes it's not even enough to feel safe

Job offer considerations Feb 18

Not only do I look at the rate and the poster's Blue Board rating, but also the country where he or she is based. If it is a third world country, then they usually can't afford to pay my rates, for instance.

Before anything else? Feb 26

The text they want translated.

It they don't want a translation of a whole document - and I can see it - the rest becomes irrelevant.
