I'm working on a hospital receipt and am having trouble telling whether 負担割 and 自費 are both "copay". If they are, why are they using two different terms?

Also, I found an earlier Q&A addressing this question already, but the respondent seemed a little unsure, so I want to double check: What would 自課２０under 区分　refer to? Well, this is why it's useful to have a proper understanding of the underlying system. I don't do medical, but isn't it something like 自費 being the total amount payable and 負担割 (presumably 自己負担割合) being the amount that the patient themselves has to bear?

You should read a few Japanese sources on the health insurance system. This is a start, but it's only a definition, not an explanation. You need to go a bit deeper. That's what a specialisation is all about - having stuff like this down pat.
